WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words
The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What have you just finished reading?
What are you going to read next?
You can read more about the books below by clicking on the covers.
What are you currently reading?

There’s a cool story to this one. Anyone who has been reading this blog for a while knows that Jodi Taylor is my favorite author. She put a post on her fan page the other day saying that her publisher, Headline, had put the ARC of the next book in her Chronicles of St. Mary’s series on Netgalley, but only as a “Wish For.” I went to Netgalley to wish for it anyway, even though wishes don’t get granted very often. I was soon disappointed to learn it wasn’t offered on Netgalley US at all, only Netgalley UK. So I figured I had no chance. Then it occurred to me to try to sign onto Netgalley UK with my US account, and it worked! So I was able to wish for it, and it was approved. So wishes do come true on Netgalley sometimes. :). As is my rule with Jodi Taylor books, this one went to the head of the TBR line and I’m reading it now even though it’s not released until June 22.
This is Book 14 in an amazing series that is a mashup of time travel and historical fiction. I recommend reading them in order.
What have you just finished reading?

I finished this one, and my review will be up in the next couple of weeks when it’s closer to the April 25th release date. (I LOVED it)! In this historical murder mystery, the main character, Tabitha, is a neighbor and friend of Julia Child in Paris. Tabitha is investigating the murder of a woman behind their building, and to top it all off, the deed was done with Julia’s own chef’s knife!

I’ll be reading this one for a blog tour with Austenprose in April. It’s the second book in the Jane Austen Vacation Club series. It’s a Jane Austen inspired romantic comedy.
What about you? What are you reading?
I enjoy historical murder mysteries too! That’s cool that you got your wish for your current read 😊 and on the UK site nonetheless. I’ve wondered what would happen if I requested a book through the UK site. Enjoy your reading week!

Kudos on your Netgalley score! I haven’t decided what I’m going to read next, as I’m behind in writing reviews of three books.
