The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book-related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

Honestly, I thought they were pretty much a must-have in everyone’s home, whether in print copy or ebooks on a kindle. My house is full of books. I am looking directly at two overflowing bookcases right now and there are more upstairs, plus boxes of books I plan to give away. And my Kindle app is crammed with books too. I do give away many of my books, but my husband will not part with any of his, so there we are. I can’t imagine a house without books.
How about you? Is your house overflowing with books?
Not overflowing but I have slowed down my phone and iPad with the amount of books I have on them.

My house is absolutely overflowing with books! I even have a box of them under the bed in the guestroom because there is no place else to put another bookcase.

Isn’t it something how we all have books overflowing somewhere. Most of mine are on my Kindle because of my eye sight, I do have some physical books in boxes 😮

Boy is it ever! I’ve had nonreader friends, though, and their houses always looked so bare!
Here’s mine:

One bookcase is overflowing, and I have more books both my e-reader and phone. As a mystery writer and former reading teacher, I love to see books in people’s homes!

Yes, I have several overflowing bookshelves as well as an overflowing kindle. I have one huge overflowing bookshelf just with kid’s books to read to and with my grandchildren. What a silly question.

When we left what I thought would be our forever home in Florida I had to “downsize” almost 1,000 books that I had collected. I ABSOLUTELY refuse to get rid of any of the essential volumes that I kept. It’s rare that I pickup another “real” hard copy of a book and it must be essential to claim a spot in our limited environment.

I don’t have many physical books in my home at all. Too many moves has made me get rid of most of my books. My kindle is full of wonderful books. And my daughter has a lot of physical books in her bookcase.
