The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book-related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.
I just met my Goodreads Challenge of 200 books for the year. Not all of those books were from Netgalley. I’m at 120 on Netgalley for the year. That takes me to 467 Netgalley books reviewed since I started on Netgalley in late 2019. I’m only 33 books away from my 500 reviews badge, so that’s exciting! I should get that in early 2023.
The Goodreads counts are not as difficult as they sound. They include re-reads and shorter books.

200 is an impressive number, whatever it entails. I read the most ever this year at 147 though GR shows a higher number – I think it includes a few DNF books. I read 33 ARCs and am actually thinking of cutting back this year. I have so many good sounding books on my TBR, I’ll never get to them if I keep crowding them out with ARCs! What’s a girl to do?

I read 46 books this year, which is a lot for me as I’m a slow reader. I did, however, manage to get through War and Peace and I really think it should count as 4 books!
