The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book-related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

I’m not expecting any books under the tree. I get so many books all year as a blogger that I don’t usually ask for books. There are a few on my radar that I will buy myself eventually, but I don’t usually put books on the Christmas list. My favorite author, Jodi Taylor, always releases a short story on Christmas Day, and I have that preordered, so I’m very much looking forward to reading that. That has become part of my Christmas Day tradition for several years now.
What about you? Are you expecting or hoping for any books under the tree?
Like you, I buy my own books these days. But I certainly give a lot of books or gift cards to bookstores. Have a wonderful Christmas, Bonnie.

I usually receive a Barnes & Noble gift card and two “best American” yearly short story anthologies.

The series for literary stories goes all the way back to 1915! I don’t have them going back all that way. I’m not quite that old. 😉 Merry Christmas!

I’m a blogger also so I get many books throughout the year but books have always been a favorite Christmas gift to receive. Merry Christmas!

What I want most is not to get sick again! I had the flu, got over that, and now I have a horrible cold and cough. Health would be a lovely gift. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, Wendy.

That sounds like a fun tradition. I usually just buy books throughout the year if there is something that I want. Merry Christmas!
