The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

Neither. I am hard of hearing and have been wearing hearing aids for about 20 years. The good news is hearing aids have improved a lot and now have bluetooth, so the audiobooks go straight to my hearing aids. It’s like the book is playing in my head. It’s awesome. The only exception is when I’m driving. When I’m driving I plug my phone into the car and listen to them over the car radio.
How do you listen to audiobooks?
I haven’t read any audiobooks. I listen to podcasts with earbuds while I do housework or gardening.

That would be another pleasant way to pass the time.

Yes, it helps the tedium!

That’s nice that hearing aids have advanced so much!
I listen to audiobooks all day long, as I’m a homemaker alone most of the day, and they are such a blessing. To be able to read while I work (or shower or do my crafting in the evenings) is a multitasking that is so rewarding! So, I only rarely need earbuds.

For me, it depends on what I’m doing and where I am. At home, I usually use my wireless earbuds, but when out, I tend to use wired headphones. Only because I’m scared of losing my wireless earbuds and also because they run out of battery if I’m out all day, with wired ones, I don’t have to worry.

That’s great that your hearing aides let you listen to audiobooks. I use airpods, except in the car when I use the car audio for the book.

Airpods are great too.

I don’t do audiobooks. I blame it on my bad hearing, but I need to totally focus on what I’m doing.

I didn’t know that about hearing aids, so that is rather neat. If I am just doing something at home like washing dishes or laundry, I just listen normally, but if I am outside or there is other noise, I definitely use my earbuds. When driving, I also hook them into my car speakers.

I love the YouTube dear Bonnie. I listen without earbuds. I like the great stories told in perfect voices. One of my muses for writing.

I listen both with headphones and without when I’m home or in my car.
