The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book-related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.
Yes, all the time! Every review I do has a rating and buy links, so in that way I’m recommending the author to my readers. And every author is new to someone. On the weekend, I do reviews and spotlights of Indie books so I can introduce Indie authors to more readers. So yes, I recommend very often!

I suggest things on Facebook Groups, mainly books though rather than a specific author. I agree with what you say though so maybe I do recommend authors via my blog!

Isn’t that one of the main purposes of our blog. I want to share great books I have read and encourage others to read them. I know some of them will be new authors to people. As of the end of September, I have read books from 122 new to me authors. Most of them came from recommendations from bloggers I follow, including you, Bonnie.
