Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Superpowers

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. There’s a different bookish topic every week. This week’s topic is below. I love this topic! Bookish Superpowers!

10. The ability to stop requesting for a few weeks so I can get caught up on my TBR.

9. The restraint needed to read my TBR from oldest to newest without skipping around!

8. Super speed reading without missing anything in the book.

7. I saw this in a novel so it’s not my idea, but the ability to touch a book and pick up thoughts and feelings from previous readers.

6. Superior organizational skills so I’ll never forget what’s on my TBR.

5. Super concentration, both for reading and writing.

4. The ability to recognize a DNF before I choose the book.

3. The ability to remember all the wonderful quotes I’ve read whenever I need them.

2. The ability to actually enter the magical worlds I’m reading about.

1. The ability to choose one or more of the magical powers I’m reading about for myself.

How about you? Which bookish superpowers would you choose?

    1. I love your # 7:

      7. I saw this in a novel so it’s not my idea, but the ability to touch a book and pick up thoughts and feelings from previous readers.

that would be amazing & like a whole other story

        1. I was doing 3/4 a month so I was literally reading one Blog Tour book after the other to get them done in time. I’m trying to cut it to 1 a month after this month. I have booked 1 each for March, April and May 😶

          1. That is smart. I also got more selective about which tours I join. Some of them barely share your blog post or spotlight you. Some of them however do a great job of raising engagement for their bloggers/bookstagrammers.

    2. These are all great ones Bonnie, and some I haven’t seen on other lists. I would love to be able to get feelings from previous readers as well as willpower to read my oldest books on my TBR.

    3. Ooh, the “magical” powers are so fun, but I also love the one about remembering quotes and sensing thoughts and feelings of previous readers. So cool!

    4. No. 7 is a really intriguing one – especially with the marmite, mega-hyped books that people either love of hate. The conflict you’d get would be so strange! Great list!

    5. This is such a great list! We have a few in common, but the one where you can tell which book will be a DNF is brilliant! I want to knock one off my list and replace it with that one!

    6. Cool superpowers! I can relate to them all! Wouldn’t it be cool to transfer thoughts between readers?!?!?! And remembering quotes is one challenge I haven’t conquered yet. If I remember to write it down, I can’t find my notes!
