Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. There is a new bookish question every week. This week is a freebie, so I decided go back to a topic I missed earlier and list my Top Ten Books Set in France. They are not in any order. Click on the cover to see either my review or the Amazon page.

One of Amanda’s wonderful adventures in Darlene Foster’s Amanda Travels series.

Time travel and Paris. A win.

I really enjoyed the latest from Danielle Steel about a 1958 debutante ball in Versailles.

The two books above are fantastic cozies set in Paris and featuring Julia Child as a supporting character.

The story of how some African Americans found more freedom in Paris after World War I.

The story of Barbe Nicole Ponsardin, a female champagne magnate during the Napoleonic Wars.

A compelling thriller set on Mont Blanc

The cover above is from the movie, but this is an amazing book about a British housekeeper who saves up for a custom dress from Christian Dior and travels to Paris to have it made.

A novel about a woman who leaves an unhappy life in Paris and learns about second chances and joy when she moves to Brittany in northwestern France.

I don’t know any of these.

Thanks for stopping by.
Time travel and Paris is a win indeed – going to look that up for sure. And it seems years since I heard of Danielle Steel, those used to be such dark engrossing plot-twister tales!
Steel is still out there writing. Her books nowadays are hit or miss for me. This one was a hit.
What a fun Top 10!
I think so too. I love books set in France. I’ve been to Paris once and I’d dearly love to go back.
I went to Paris when I was in high school and make the adolescent/immature decision not to be impressed by it. I was impressed by Mont St. Michel, though.
The cover of Champagne Widows is so fun and quirky! I’d be tempted to pick it up based on that.
That is an awesome cover.
Ooh, I’m intrigued by the cosies there! I love a good cosy mystery.
The Julia Child cozies are especially good.
Thank you so much for including Amanda in France along with these other interesting books. France is such a great place to set a story. The Little French Bistro sounds especially good.
You are so welcome. I can’t wait for another Amanda adventure!
I’m writing as fats as I can. xo
Am I allowed to ask where she’s going?
She’s going to visit Scotland!
Yay!
I loved the movie Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, and the book is on my TBR, I also think Champagne Widows sounds interesting, and the cover is very pretty.

That is such a good movie, isn’t it!
Great Top 10, Bonnie!
Thanks! I love books set in France.
I’ve read several books set in France, but right now all I can think of are Sara’s Key and The Nightingale.
Love your list. I’ve been wanting to read Cambridge’s books. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
Great list, at present I am listening to a book set in France. It’s not often I read a book from there but there are a good few for sure.
I just love that setting. If a book is set in France I’m sure to choose it.
I liked another book by Nina George. I wonder if I would like this one? Fun to think of such a romantic setting.
My TTT topic: Christmas Playlist
Oh I haven’t read any of these! I should definitely try the Nina George I think
I haven’t read her books before but they look good.
Very cool list! I like your take on the freebie topic. 😀
Thanks Nicole!
The Beautiful Risk sounds like something I’d enjoy. I missed this prompt too. Love France! Thanks for visiting my TTT.
It’s a pretty good thriller. Thanks for visiting here too.
I loved Mastering the Art of French Murder and look forward to reading the next book.

I’m reading it now. So good.
Those Cambridge mysteries sound really fun! They’re on my TBR, so I’ll get to them at some point. *Sigh* So many books, so little time…
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I just love them. Cambridge has really captured Julia Child’s big personality.
These all look great, but I have to say that a cozy featuring Julia Child as a supporting character has absolutely caught my attention!
