Top Ten Tuesday: Book Covers in the Colors of Your Country’s flag.

Top Ten Tuesday is run by That Artsy Reader Girl and features a new topic every week. For the Fourth of July, this week’s topic is “Book Covers in the Colors of Your Country’s Flag.” I’m in Tennessee, USA, so, red, white and blue it is!

The red and white beach umbrella plus the blue sky make this a perfect choice in my opinion.

Written by an American military member, this is the perfect book for the Fourth of July.

This WWII Novel set in the Philippines also has red, white, and blue on the cover.

Isn’t this cover gorgeous? I haven’t read the book yet but I’m looking forward to it.

Another book set in WWII and the cover is so striking.

I actually only found this because I was looking for red, white, and blue covers, but the premise is interesting. What if George Washington had been offered a crown and America had a royal family?

A nice “beach holiday” book with a pretty cover.

This premise sounded so good I picked it up on KU.

(From Amazon) Sienna Nealon was a 17 year-old girl who had been held prisoner in her own house by her mother for twelve years. Then one day her mother vanished, and Sienna woke up to find two strange men in her home. On the run, unsure of who to turn to and discovering she possesses mysterious powers, Sienna finds herself pursued by a shadowy agency known as the Directorate and hunted by a vicious psychopath named Wolfe, each of which is determined to capture her for their own purposes.

This one might be more pink than red, but close enough.

A couple who broke up months ago pretend to still be together for their annual weeklong vacation with their best friends.

I really want to read this one. It’s the sequel to The Firm.

Have a Happy Fourth of July!

  1. American Royals is perfect for this prompt. And I like that you tied in a few that were also military-centric. Great list! 🙂
