When I was in elementary school, we could order books through the Scholastic Book Club at a very good price. Misty was one of the books I bought.

Hi Bonnie, I love your animal theme choice. Got to love an animal on a cover! One of my favourite books of all time is The Hobbit, even before you factor in the cool dragon on the cover. I also love Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Can’t think of any other books with animals on the cover off the top of my head though.

This is a fantastic list! Animals on a book cover almost always draw my attention, ever since I read Black Beauty as a child and developed a fixation on horses. Too bad I’m allergic to them lol. But I still enjoy reading a book with an animal on the cover – cozies are especially good for that.
