Book Reviews, both traditionally published and Indie. Indie Authors are welcome and celebrated here! I do Indie Book Reviews and Spotlights every weekend on my Indie Weekend feature. I will also share photos of my life in the Smoky Mountains, and my husband and I dabble in writing from time to time under the name Bonnie Douglas. Indie Weekend: Imaginary Friends by Chad Musick
Indie Weekend is my effort to highlight Indie books and help Indie authors, who have to do it all, with marketing. If I can help even a little bit, I’m happy to do it. I would ask all readers of my Indie Weekend posts to please share this far and wide with your social media…

Book Review: Murder in Postscript
*I did this review for the May edition of Historical Novels Review, the Magazine of the Historical Novel Society. BOOK DESCRIPTION When one of her readers asks for advice following a suspected murder, Victorian countess Amelia Amesbury, who secretly pens the popular Lady Agony column, has no choice but to investigate in this first book…
Top Ten Tuesday: Things That Make Me Instantly NOT Want to Read a Book
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is the opposite of last…

Book Review: The Long March Home by Marcus Brotherton and Tosca Lee
I always say I don’t pick up too many WWII books anymore unless they have a unique take. Well, this one blew me out of the water. It is set in the Philippines during and after the Bataan Death March, which I don’t think I was ever taught about in history class. Just mesmerizing. BOOK…

How do you find yourself on the Amazon Top Reviewer list? I assume I’m there because I’m a Vine Reviewer for them, but there’s no search button!
Kudos to you, Bonnie!

There should be a reviewer Ranking under your Amazon profile. If you are in the top 10,000 then you are on the list. I would love to know how to become a Vine Voice.

I finally found it. I’m 50,906. Yikes! I guess I don’t care. Kudos to you! Amazon Vine–they have to invite you. I did a lot of reviews years ago and got an email out of the blue from them with the invitation. It is a good program. I’m not sure why they noticed me other than all my reviews.

That’s 50000 out of millions though. Congrats on being a Vine Voice. That is awesome.
