Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
You can just tell this is going to be a lot of fun.
1.
The basis for the movie Field of Dreams is about a summer that a farmer plowed his corn, built a baseball diamond, and Shoeless Joe Jackson came to Iowa.
These are my top ten summer covers. What are yours?
I love to read and write book reviews in my free time. I review advance review copies of books on Netgalley for various publishers. I am also a reviewer for Historical Novels Review Magazine, the magazine of the Historical Novel Society. I review books from publishers of all size, large to small. I have a special place in my heart for indie authors. I will sometimes post a little writing that I might dabble in occasionally. I also am lucky enough to live in the Smoky Mountains, so I'll be sharing photos of the beauty around me from time to time.

I enjoyed your list as well, especially the Beauty Queens cover. I haven’t seen that on any of the other lists, and it’s awesome. I followed your blog as well.
Your list looks how I expected mine to look, with lots of water. Summer to me is about time at the beach and/or the lake. And I love that you included the baseball boys of summer. That connection didn’t even cross my mind as I created my list. Great choices!
This is a fabulous list! You did a great job with the various summery covers, and I especially love the cover for A Summer Getaway – it makes me want to escape to a beach house!
Thanks for commenting on my post. Sorry it has taken me a little bit to get back to you. I’ve been exhausted from moving and unpacking. I’m sure you understand.
I love your cover choices and I was happy to see that we had a couple in common. I think my favorite cover you chose is When We Were Sisters. 😀
Delightfully summery covers!

I grew up a Reds fan, and I was 12 years old when Pete Rose and Johnny Bench were winning World Series. So sad the way the Reds are now.
