That cover is beautiful. It really gives a good feeling of what the book is about and seems to match the blurb. Plus it has a dog on the cover!

Thanks, Wendy. In the story, Guid’Antonio reluctantly takes this dog–a down-and-out stray–for his own. And of course, the mastiff becomes his heart. I am so happy my publisher put this gentle mastiff on the cover.

The next book features another dog. It will be a Lagotto Romagnolo, a truffle-hunting small dog from Northern Italy. 🙂
